The stay here was VERY RELAXING in lovely town-good value for money. The room was not only well-appointed, but reasonably large too, and had a flat-screen TV with satellite channels, a microwave oven and a fridge. Location: the hotel was near shops and resturants, the Portuguese restaurant next door, and resturants. Went to Clementines Restaurant and Bar for drink or two, set approx 10-15 minutes' walk from the property.

The open plan self catering units at Clarens Eddies Guest House are absolutely amazing! They are perfect for a group of friends or even couples who want some privacy. The two bathrooms with free toiletries are a great bonus, ensuring that no one has to fight for shower time. As a business traveler, I felt so comfortable and relaxed in the cozy bedrooms and the well-maintained private bathroom. It was like a home away from home.
I must admit, there was one feature that didn't quite suit my taste. The hairdryer in the private bathroom wasn't as powerful as I would have liked.

We had a fantastic stay at this guest house. The apartment was well equipped, with all sorts of kitchen utensils that we normally don't find in self-catering units. The cleanliness of the rooms was impeccable, and the hotel facilities were excellent. We were impressed by the central location, as it was within walking distance of the town center and the local brewery where we enjoyed a drink before an amazing steak dinner at the neighboring Portuguese restaurant. The staff, especially Dawn, was friendly and accommodating. We felt comfortable and well taken care of during our time here.
Nothing at all.

We loved the spaciousness and the way it brought us all together while still allowing for privacy when needed. It really felt like a home away from home. The two bathrooms with free toiletries were a great touch. It made getting ready in the morning a breeze and ensured that no one had to fight for bathroom time. The bedrooms with private bathrooms were also fantastic. The consistent standard and the availability of free toiletries made us feel pampered and well taken care of. Oh, and did I mention there was a hairdryer? So convenient! If you're looking for a romantic getaway, the open-plan self catering unit is the perfect choice. It provides a private haven for couples with all the comforts and amenities you could ask for.
Personally, I would have liked to have a bit more variety in the toiletries available. But that's just my subjective opinion, others might still find it perfectly adequate.

The unit was clean and well-equipped, with a bar fridge and microwave for convenience. The soft towels and clean linen added to our comfort, and the free WiFi was a bonus. We will definitely be returning to Eddies when we visit Clarens again. I highly recommend this guest house for a pleasant stay.

The guest house is conveniently located within walking distance to many restaurants nearby. We enjoyed a drink in the local brewery before an excellent steak dinner in the Portuguese restaurant next door. The room we stayed in was clean and comfortable, with beautiful linen and a fantastic view over the mountains from the veranda.
The pillows provided were too hard for our liking.

The staff at this guest house were incredibly friendly and helpful, making our stay even more enjoyable. The rooms were clean and comfortable, and the well-equipped kitchenette was a cherry on top. The rooms were clean and well equipped with all the necessary amenities. the location was ideal, being within walking distance to the main square and all the restaurants and shops. Plus, the affordable prices made it a great value for money stay.
The bunk beds in one of the rooms were not very comfortable for two adults. the noise from the kitchen on the 2nd floor made it difficult to sleep if someone woke up early.
